This course would be beneficial to those wanting to learn a server-based programming language. PHP is a programming language that runs on a server, which employs scripts that consume requests from users or other systems, applies logic where required and produces a customized response for each request. An alternative to this is when the server directly responds to user requests, this can only be achieved through serving static content – content that does not change – such as HTML pages on websites. PHP acts as the middleman between users (or other systems) and servers.
